iPhone photo cleaner
Clean your camera roll Tinder-style: swipe left to keep, right to delete. What Blanc shows you once, it never shows again — you always pick up where you left off, even on a new phone.

01Features
Most cleanup apps start from scratch every time you open them. You swipe for ten minutes and you're looking at the same photos you already dismissed last week. Open Blanc tomorrow and you pick up where you stopped.
Screenshots first
Screenshots are usually the biggest group in your library and the one you hesitate over least. Swipe through only those and you can clear hundreds in a few minutes, and actually watch the space come back.

One swipe, one decision
Ten cards a round, done in under a minute. Photos and videos alike — video cards autoplay muted, so you can judge without opening them. Each card shows when and where it was taken, so the memory comes right back.

Eight ways to clean
One button at the bottom switches modes anytime: screenshots only, videos only, or largest files first. Time Machine picks a month; On This Day shows what you shot on this date in past years; By Album cleans a single album; Burst Face-off lays out near-identical shots taken seconds apart — tap the keeper, the rest queue for deletion.

Nothing goes without you
At the end of each round you land on a review screen showing everything queued for deletion. Tap any photo to keep it, or hit "Keep All" to put them all back. Nothing is deleted until you confirm — and deleted photos sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Your memory follows you
What you've already seen syncs between your devices through your own iCloud — a new phone or a reinstall loses nothing. Photos you kept six months ago come back once to ask if you still want them. Ten cards a day counts as a day: a Home Screen widget shows your progress and streak, and a Yearbook sums up the year.

Clean, no tricks
No ads, no tricks. Free until you've deleted 20 photos; subscribe after that for unlimited use — the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

02How it works
No account, no sign-in, no setup. Blanc has no server to talk to.
Blanc needs it to show your photos as cards. That's the only thing it does with them — nothing is ever uploaded.
Left to keep, right to delete. Under a minute, roughly the time you spend waiting for a lift.
Check what's queued, pull back anything you want, and confirm. Then see how much space you got back.
03Compare
There are plenty. Almost all of them are built around recognising what's in your photos. Blanc is built around remembering what you've already decided.
| Blanc | Typical cleanup app | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you left off | Remembered — a photo you've seen never appears again | Starts from scratch every session |
| Switching phones | Memory syncs through iCloud — pick up where you left off | Start from scratch |
| Business model | 7-day free trial, cancel anytime, no ads | Weekly auto-renew or ad-supported |
| Before deleting | A review screen every round, plus 30 days in Recently Deleted | Often deletes straight away |
| Your photos | No server, no account — your photos never leave your iPhone | Cloud scanning is common |
| Large libraries | Smooth at 20,000 photos | Long scans, stuttering |
| Near-identical bursts | Laid out side by side — tap the one to keep | Flags a pile and leaves the picking to you |
04Promises
These are the things Blanc is built to be — and the ones we'd rather lose users than break.
You'll never look at the same photo twice — not even on a new phone. This is why Blanc exists, and it's the one thing the others don't do.
No ads, no dark patterns, cancel anytime. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Deletion goes through the system, exactly as if you deleted from the Photos app. Everything lands in Recently Deleted and can be restored for 30 days.
Restrained design that doesn't feel like a utility. Thumbnails are pre-fetched, progress counting is constant-time, and the library scan runs off the main thread.
Delete 20 photos free. After that, subscribe for unlimited use — monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Cancel anytime.

Yes. Blanc uses the standard iOS deletion API, so deleted photos go to the "Recently Deleted" album in the system Photos app, where you can restore them for 30 days. We do not — and technically cannot — delete anything irreversibly.
That is the core design. Blanc remembers locally which photos you have already handled and never shows them again, so no swipe is ever wasted work. To start over, clear the records in Settings → Reset tidying history (records only; your library is untouched).
No. Blanc has no server and transmits no photos; everything happens locally on your device.
Swipe left to keep, swipe right to delete. A matching stamp appears as you drag. If you would rather not swipe, the buttons along the bottom do the same thing, and there is an undo.
Yes. Videos sit in the same deck as photos and autoplay muted when you reach them. You can also pick “Videos Only” in Cleaning Mode — videos are usually what takes up the most space.
Yes. The fourth button at the bottom opens Cleaning Mode: screenshots only, videos only, largest first, by album, Burst Face-off, or Time Machine to pick a year and month. There's also On This Day for photos taken on this date in past years, and Second Look, which gently asks once more about photos you kept six months ago.
No. Swiping only puts a photo into a pending queue. At the end of each round you get a review screen where you can see everything laid out and pull any photo back; only after you confirm does the system delete them in one batch.
Everything is free until you have deleted 20 photos in total. After that, a subscription unlocks unlimited use — monthly or yearly, and the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Yes. What you've already seen syncs between your devices through your own iCloud private database, so a new phone or a reinstall picks up where you left off. Only the tidying records sync — never the photos. We have no server and cannot see this data. Without iCloud, the records stay on the device.
Use Settings → Restore purchase with your original Apple ID. There is no need to pay again.
Blanc is designed for one-handed portrait use on iPhone. It can be installed and run on iPad in iPhone compatibility mode, but the interface is not optimised for the larger screen.
The Photos app supports drag-to-select and deleting by month, which works for obvious junk. For the thousands of photos that need a real decision, a swipe-based flow is much faster — see our step-by-step guide: How to delete photos fast on iPhone.
Usually yes, but order matters: videos and screenshots first, then duplicates, and always empty Recently Deleted at the end — no space is freed until you do. Full walkthrough: iPhone storage full? What actually works.
Four things: it remembers every photo you've reviewed so nothing comes back, deletions wait in a review screen until you confirm, everything runs on-device with no data collected, and pricing is clean — no ads, cancel anytime, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan.

In one line: Blanc collects no data about you. There is no server, no account, and no upload. Your photos never leave your iPhone; your tidying history can sync between your own devices through your own iCloud, where we cannot see it.
Nothing. Blanc contains no analytics SDK, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no profiling, and it never asks you to register or sign in. We cannot see which photos you have or which ones you deleted, because that information never leaves your device.
To deliver the core feature — a photo you have already reviewed is never shown to you again — Blanc records the system identifier of each photo you have handled, the outcome (kept / deleted), the file size in bytes, and a timestamp. These records:
The "10 a day" Home Screen widget reads only today's progress numbers (cards swiped today, cards left, streak), which likewise stay on your device. The daily reminder is a local notification, and notification permission is requested only if you turn it on in Settings.
The full version is unlocked through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payment, billing, and refunds are handled entirely by Apple; we neither see nor store your payment information. Blanc only verifies your purchase locally through the mechanism Apple provides.
There are none. Blanc integrates no third-party service, SDK, or data processor, so there is no sharing or selling of data to speak of.
Blanc is not designed for children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because the app is built on the premise of collecting no data, we do not anticipate changes that weaken your privacy.

We usually reply within 1–2 business days. Including your iPhone model and iOS version helps us diagnose the issue faster.
Can I get deleted photos back?
Yes. Blanc uses the standard iOS deletion API, so deleted photos go to the "Recently Deleted" album in the system Photos app, where you can restore them for 30 days. We do not — and technically cannot — delete anything irreversibly.
Why does the same photo never come back?
That is the core design. Blanc remembers locally which photos you have already handled and never shows them again, so no swipe is ever wasted work. To start over, clear the records in Settings → Reset tidying history (records only; your library is untouched).
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Blanc has no server and transmits no photos; everything happens locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
What do left and right swipes do?
Swipe left to keep, swipe right to delete. A matching stamp appears as you drag. If you would rather not swipe, the buttons along the bottom do the same thing, and there is an undo.
Does deletion happen immediately?
No. Swiping only puts a photo into a pending queue. At the end of each round you get a review screen where you can see everything laid out and pull any photo back; only after you confirm does the system delete them in one batch.
How much is free?
Free to try: delete 20 photos free. After that a Blanc Pro subscription unlocks unlimited use, monthly or yearly — the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime. Current prices are shown in the App Store.
If I switch phones, does my tidying history follow?
In the current version the history is stored only on the device, so you start fresh after switching phones or reinstalling. Cross-device sync is planned for a later version.
I already bought it — how do I restore on a new device?
Use Settings → Restore purchase with your original Apple ID. There is no need to pay again.
Is iPad supported?
Blanc is designed for one-handed portrait use on iPhone. It can be installed and run on iPad in iPhone compatibility mode, but the interface is not optimised for the larger screen.
